Terms and Conditions
Booking Policy
A $50 deposit is required to secure all private and corporate bookings. Deposits can be made by bank transfer directly into our account. All deposits are non-refundable. Full payment of all invoices is required 5 days before the event, unless we have specifically agreed on paying in cash on day of event.
Payment Method
Offline transactions are to be done 5 days before the event with the following information:

Once your payment is done you will receive an email from In Character confirming your payment within the 24hours of your payment.
Covid Policy
In the event of the Public Health Orders imposing a full lockdown preventing any parties from taking place. Our cancellation policy will be waived and all monies will be refunded.
Cancellation Policy
All deposits are not refundable in any way. A 50% cancellation fee applies if you cancel a reservation with less than 7 days' notice. A 100% cancellation fee is applied if you cancel a reservation with less than 24 hours' notice.
Additional Fees
Travel fees apply to certain locations which you will be notified of any additional such fees upon booking. Should you change the location after booking, to a location that has travel fees we reserve the right to invoice you for these additional travel charges.
Changes to Bookings
Very rarely, the entertainer that has been assigned to your event may find themselves in an emergency situation that prevents them from being able to attend your event. This may be due to illness, car accidents or any other emergency situation that may arise. In Character will go above and beyond to always ensure a replacement entertainer is sent to your event and will communicate with you to let you know if such a change has occurred.
Disclaimers on Liability
In Character will not be held responsible for the behavior of any child or other person attending your event. We reserve the right to cease entertainment at the discretion of the entertainer, if behavior of any child or event guest becomes unacceptable, or if there is any unreasonable risk of harm to the entertainer, other children or event guests.
You agree that either yourself or another nominated adult will remain present for the duration of the event, and will be responsible for the supervision of the event and that you will advise In Character of who that supervising adult is prior to the commencement of the entertainment.
You agree that In Character will not in any way be liable to you or tp any other person for any damage, loss or injury suffered by yourself or any other persons while participating in the event, however such damage, loss or injury, may be caused, whether by our act, default, omission or negligence and you agree to indemnify In Character in respect of such injury, loss or damage.
You agree to notify In Character of any special requirements of any child or event guests, including but not limited to allergies or other mental, emotional or physical issues, which may affect the entertainment we choose to provide, and you agree to indemnify In Character in respect of any claim which may arise as a result of your misrepresentation or failure to make such a disclosure.
